I'm M, or at least that's how I'm known, and I'll be your guide. I founded The Master Theorem years
ago as a secret society of solvers at Columbia University. At first, I thought that I wanted to do the
same things that every mystery-shrouded founder of a secret society wants to do: cultivate bright young
minds, spark forward-thinking debate, take over the world, you know. We had a Dead Poets Society sort
of thing going on for a while, but I don't make a great Robin Williams. For starters, I'm decidedly more
badass.
So, I informed the Members that it was time to broaden our scope. The Master Theorem remains a
Members-only society, but anyone with the determination to join us can earn Membership.
The Herculean test of your grit is as follows: Submit the solution, in the form of a word or phrase, to any puzzle, called a Theorem. As a Member, you'll have the chance to search for hidden Seals throughout the website and compete with other Members by earning points for all of your efforts.
As of the 2011 end of year holiday celebrations, I'll be taking a leave of absence. I know you'll sorely miss my weekly presence, but The Master Theorem website will remain up. So, continue to poke around and earn your way up the ranks of the Elite. And whether or not I'm around, always remember: The Master Theorem lives on.
